STATEMENT OF FAITH.******* New Beginning Christian Centre is a Christ-Centered Apostolic congregation founded upon the infallible Word of God. As such, we believe and teach the Apostle's doctrine, endeavoring to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy and compassion. We believe in the Bible standard of full salvation, believing on the Lord through repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirt gives utterance. We believe the Bible teaches that there is only one true, ever living, eternal God, infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purpose, and possessing absolute, invisible deity. The One true God has revealed Himself as Father, through His Son in redemption, and as the Holy Ghost, by emanation. This one true God manifested Himself in the Old Testament in various ways; in the Son while he walked among men; as the Holy Ghost after the ascension. We believe in divine healing, and the second coming of the Lord Jesus. This Statement of Faith does not exhaust the extent of our faith. The Bible itself is the sole and final source of all that we believe. Dear Brethrens, whenever you come to Uganda join us in celebrating JESUS, we are friendly. Come expecting a miracle from JESUS. We are a church that believe in praising and worshipping the ALMIGHTY GOD, so be expectant the HOLY SPIRIT is ever present to usher you in the presence of GOD. The church is located 10km from Kampala city centre, along Jinja road, when you reach Banda, you will find a fuel station called Petro but just opposite you will see a church with flags in the compound. Secretary(Miss Nantongo Natasha). It's a school established to educate children from the poor families, orphans, street kids and others. We put more emphasis in promoting the girl-child education. We have an adult literacy program aimed at teaching adults how to write and read, this has helped many people to know how to read and write especially the the WORD OF GOD. Our target is to educate all disadvantaged people up to the university level, but we are limited by lack of land, structures, furniture, staff payments, and books. VOLUNTEERS HELP THE WORLD & ATRIP TO WAR AREA
****************HELP THE WORLD****************** New Beginning Christian Church is a family devoted to fulfilling the great commission of our LORD JESUS CHRIST and planting churches allover Uganda and other parts of the world.Our work is based on Matthew 25:31-46. We volunteer through our family organistion (HELP THE WORLD) to help people in need, by providing free education to children and adults; clothing; food; shelter; visit hospitals and prisons, and other needs. Our areas of operations are: slums, villages, war areas, refugee camps, hospitals, prisons and others. we appreciate all of you who have come out to support the work of God. **********TRIP TO WAR AREA.*****************On sturday 25/06/05 I escotted the family of Christine for the burial of thier father in Lira Kato in Pader District, in the northern part of Uganda. I thank God that we came back on 27/06/05 safely. May the name of the Living God be praised forever & ever Amen. I happened to talk to various kind of people in about 5 camps out of the many camps I saw, and I was touched by thier stories of suffering in the camps. I really thank the government of Uganda for the protection they give to the people in the camps and those travelling. I also thank all organisations who have put in thier efforts to see that people get the basic neccesities. According to what I saw and what people told me, there is still alot to be done in order to improve thier life of standards. The following is what I saw: 1** people are hungry for God. 2** They lack clothes. 3** Health centers are few. 4** There are few safe water points compared to the population. 5** Sanitation is very poor. 6** There is free education up to primary seven (p7), after P7, parents who can offord educate there children up to Senior four(S4) since most schools do not have higher classes. Children who fail to attain higher education get married and others do other activities. There are very few institutions which can take children after P7 and S4. 7** People left there homes and live in camps. According to the situation in the camps HELP THE WORLD is organising a trip to the camps in the nothern Uganda from 4/12/2005 to 11/12/2005. Activities will include: preaching the word of God; donating clothes, utensils, drugs, stationary, bibles; educate the people concerning sanitation, and so many activities depending on the abilities of the various volunteers. We call upon all volunteers who are willing to help the people in the camps to contact the coordinator . For those who will be going, there will be tight security along the way and in the camps. International and local volunteers are welcome. I will keep on updating you on this trip, keep on visiting this page.
