SECOND CHANCE CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST INC.

We are excited to present to our communities throughout the city of Milton, Florida and surrounding areas this "AWESOME" ministry of "Building and Restoration" in the lives of people of all walks of life. We are endeavoring to present many functions for our youth, and also aiming to build family structure once again with simple, back to the basic fellowship with one another. In hopes that our communities can become stronger and healthier, spiritually, physically, and econonmically. We are not just a "CHURCH" on the corner, but we are actively a "CHURCH" in our communities. We have also started faith based programs such as: 'MOTHER'S KEEPER and DADDY MAKERS" two support groups focused to aid and assist parents in crisis. For troubled youth in our communities we feature "YOUTHFUL F.L.A.V.A., and for hungry families we with great joy present "MANNA FROM HEAVEN" our food bank. We take great pleasure in " THE SHEPHERD'S VOICE" a weekly reading of books to our children of all ages and even their parents, hoping to detour illiteracy. Finally, through "SKILLFUL PLAY" We teach music, piano, drums, praise dance, and step team drills, with great opportunity to exercise these skills throughout city events . We also seek educational and employment positions to better the livelihood of individuals, their families, and their communities. We are seeking grants, foundations, and other sources of income to aid in this "GREAT WORK". We honor the Lord for such a great task at hand. In spite of opposition, the Lord being Mightier, will help us to accomplish this "GREAT WORK". FOR WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

FROM THE PASTOR DESK

It is with the greatest of admiration and love unto the Lord, to have chosen me to this "GREAT WORK". I thank God for my Pastor Bishop John D.Young Sr., Prelate, of NORTHWEST FLORIDA JURISDICTION of Pensacola. He has entrusted me to do this work without reservations, other than for me to continue to live a holy and sanctified life before God and man. My husband of 22 years passed away, one year ago, I am the mother of four sons, Marvin, Kenneth Jr., Wesley, and Joshua. Grandmother to a son, Quincy, two daughters in-law, and 60 God-Children. I have been saved, sanctified, and holy ghost filed for 21 years, and pastoring only for 14 months. For 20 years the Lord allowed me to do the work of an evangelist, Oh what great joy I find in loving God, and loving people! "Faithful and true are the saints in this house called", "Second Chance" and I love them all, for we have been given this great gift, from the true and living God of a "Second Chance". I love the Lord, Because he first loved me! Thank you for visiting us here at SECOND CHANCE COGIC!
