History
Word of Faith Tabernacle is a Word of Faith Church Located in Nassau Bahamas. It was established by Pastor Dr.Perry Edison Newton Sron 12th September 1993. The church was launched when after the Holy Spirit revealed to the founder that a one dollar offering be taken from voulantares to commence the church. The first person to give a dollar was Julianne Sands of Quakkoo Street who is now deceased. After accumulating forty dollars a bank account was opened at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce Shirley Street Nassau, Bahamas. The Church was incorporated free of charge by attorney Godfrey Pro Pinder. Pastor Perry Newton Preached the first sermon.The church moved in a brand new building on July 28th 2002 after renting from Mr Claude Hanna. The founder expects succes and base his conviction on John 15:5 " I am the vine, ye are the branches, he that abides in me and i in him the same bringeth forth much fruit, for with out me ye can do nothing.'
Mission Statement
To Preach against sin; to show the way of salvation and redemption; to announce that the kingdom of God is come; and to take the message of the gospel of Jesus to all the Islands of the Bahamas and through out the world by means of mass media and by personal evangelism; to return the gospel to its origin and reestablish the pillars of worship as it used to be during the lives of the fathers.
