Our Purpose
It is our desire at Turnage Chapel to magnify God's name by introducing people to Christ Jesus and membership in His family, developing them into Christ-like maturity, equipping them for ministry in the church and fulfilling their mission in the world. We are committed to ministering in our community by showing the love of Christ and minister to their needs. We are available to pray for any prayer requests and will commit to pray for any requests that are submitted. It is our desire to fulfill the commission that Jesus Christ gave us, to preach the gospel to every creature, teaching them to observe all things which He has commanded us and baptize them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Upcoming Events
Our youth will be conducting services the 4th Sunday night every month. We are really proud of our youth. They have their Praise and Worship band in progress. They are really growing in Christ, and that is what it is all about. The Men of Action will have a pancake supper on Saturday, February 25th from 5:00 to 7:30 P.M. Tell all your friends and neighbors, then come and enjoy a delicious meal. Plates will cost $5.00 each and tickets are available in advance to buy or sell. Donations will also be accepted and appreciated. Our Men Of Action will meet the first Sunday every month at 8:30 A. M. for their breakfast and business meeting. These men volunteer their time to do odd jobs for those who cannot do them for themselves, such as wheelchair ramps, and other small jobs. Periodically, they have fundraisers to raise money to support this effort. If people can afford to provide their own supplies, then they do, otherwise the Men of Action will provide the supplies. You men folks, come and join this group. You will be glad you did. Get ready for our 5th Sunday night singing on January 31 at 6:00 P.M. This will be followed by our birthday and anniversary fellowship. All those who sing make plans to prepare special music. See you there.
