The Mission of the Holy Apostles is a mission congregation of the Christian Episcopal Church of Canada, led by Mr James Darrach. Mr Darrach was for many years a school teacher and was principal of a Christian day-school, and is now a commissioned Lay Reader of the Christian Episcopal Church of Canada ministering under the authority of Archbishop A. Donald Davies.

The Christian Episcopal Church of Canada was established by members of the Anglican Church of Canada as a traditional continuation of the Anglican Church of Canada, adhering to the faith and order of the Anglican Church as it was established in Canada by the First General Synod in 1893.

The Christian Episcopal Church of Canada believes and upholds the Christian Faith as it is revealed to man by God in the Bible and expressed by the three Creeds of the one holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, and conducts and regulates its worship according to the Book of Common Prayer. The Christian Episcopal Church of Canada is in full communion with all those provinces, dioceses, and parishes of the Anglican Communion that have remained true to the doctrine of the undivided Church as it was received and handed down from the holy Apostles, and provides a safe haven for those Anglicans who desire to hold fast and without compromise to that "faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (Jude 3).

If you are a traditional Anglican looking for a spiritual home in Thunder Bay, please feel welcome to join us in worship and fellowship within a faithful and stable Diocese under the authority of properly consecrated and ordained Bishops and Priests who uphold the faith and order of the one holy Catholic Church and the full integrity of the authentic Anglican tradition.
