At Cornerstone, we take very seriously the command of Jesus to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. To share the Good News with everyone, we must speak their language. At Cornerstone, we make every effort to "speak the language" of the children, the youth, and the adults, the church member, and the first time guest, the born again, and the one who is not. It is our great desire that everyone feel comfortable and necessary at Cornerstone so that we may fulfill the command of Jesus Christ in our community and world.
Our Pastor
Our senior pastor is Dr. Edward Andrew Starks, better known as "Bro. Andy." Having been in the full-time ministry for over 30 years, pastored churches across the state, done short-term mission work around the world, and taught in two Bible colleges and one seminary, heloves the work and the city God has called him to. He, his lovely Dutch wife, Sis. Femmie, and their children, came to New Iberia many years ago and made their home among us. God is doing great and marvelous things among His people through the music of Sis. Femmie, the preaching of Bro. Andy, and the pastoring of them both.
