As a Church, we at Springs of Living Water Church believe that there is only one, holy, sovereign God and that God is the creator of the universe, and the head of the Church. We also believe in the Trinitarian God, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus is the only Son of God, and that Jesus is the only means by which human beings can be reconciled with God and can be saved by faith through God's grace. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and it was written by the divine inspiration of God. We practice believer's baptism by immersion of an inward decision because we believe it best represents the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord. The Lord's Supper is a reminder of the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for our sins. We take communion to commemorate the new Covenant Christ made with all believers, sealing it with the blood of Christ. We believe that we were called to worship and glorify God in Spirit and truth, to preach the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to make disciples of all nations through the mission of the Church. In order to build up the one Kingdom of God on earth, we believe that the Church should not be divided by any culture, language, ethnicity, and nation. We also believe that the Church should reach out to all people, all nations and all cultures through the multicultural ministry. We as a member of American Baptist Churches, USA continue to be supportive to the best of our ability to the mission of American Baptist Churches.
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
