Mission Statement

Thanks be to Almighty God, Bishop Cecil Bishop, and Presiding Elder Kenneth Lee for giving me this opportunity to serve this great church and great people of Zion. My vision for Sneed Grove African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church is within five years that this church will continue to progress with God's help and truly become one of the outstanding churches of Zion. We will have numerous outreach programs reaching the needs of the people in times of crisis. I visualize having many food, clothing, financial assistance, counseling, and various other departments to minister to their emotional, physical, mental and spiritual needs. There will be a childcare center that will help the parent enabling them to look for help and jobs, and to enhance the child in their academic and spiritual growth. Of course, it would be our pleasure to aid and love those with a disability of any kind. Finally, In order for this ministry to run smoothly we will need an spirit filled staff that share in this vision to corporate God's Plan instead of man's. Our motto is On the Move for Christ.
