Foundational Scripture St. John 6:12
When they were all filled he said unto them"Gather all the fragments that remain that nothing be lost". Jesus gives a profound revelational word to his deciples after they were filled. He reminds them of the broken peices of left over fish and bread that the multitude has scraped to the ground.Lazerus the begger had a desire for the crumbs that fell from the rich mans table (luke 16). That same commission is given to us at Evidence of Faith Church.Jesus said "Go and pick up the crumbs of life that have been pushed aside by the multitudes.Get the drug addicts,dealers,and church crumbs that nobody wants to deal with.They were prepared now they have to be repaired".
The Real Meaning of Faith
Whatis the real meaning of faith? The substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen,right?But what does that mean in i'ts essence?I believe that the true meaning of faith is captured in Hebrews 11:13. "these all died in faith, having not received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them". If the followers of Christ can learn to grasp hold of the unreceived promises of God and be willing to die without physical touching them then will see more healings as well as more blessed people in the local church.Allow the word and the things that God has promised you to become flesh in your life through faith!
