The Community of the Divine Word is a new Religious Community and mission in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church founded by Jesus Christ. We live both by the Holy Scriptures, and a modern interpretation of the Rule of St. Benedict. We are a Roman Rite Mission of the Independent Catholic Union; and as a community of believers we attempt to restore and faithfully practice the authentic faith of our forebears given us from the earliest days of Christianity. We are Bishops, Presbyters and Deacons, and Consecrated Laity (Brothers and Sisters) coming together for the purpose of praising God and being of commited service to those who have never had the privilege of knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through the presentation of His Word. The Community of the Divine Word welcomes intercommunion with other faith communities in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. Our mission is Evangelization in the broadest sense, bringing the Lord to the Masses through whatever means we have at our disposal. We are inclusive in that we admit men and women regardless of race, gender, disability or affectional orientation. We profess 4 vows, and our formation process is composed of 4 steps.
