OUR VISION: Developing Christian lifestyles and ministries that meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of the communities and elsewhere.

OUR MISSION: Providing Biblically balanced and practical teaching by creating a safe, accepting environment that builds covenant relationship; helping people fulfill the call of God on their lives by meeting the needs of our community.

OUR PURPOSE: (1) committed to a living, vital relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Acts 2: 38-39. (2) Committed to facilitating the training and equipping of the Saints for the work of ministry. Ephesians 4:11-13 (3) Committed to the teaching of God as revealed in His Holy Work. I Timothy 3:16 (4) Open to the ministry of the Holy Spirit by His gifts and offices he has ordained in Scripture. I Corinthians 12:14 (5) Seeking to fulfill the call that God has put on their lives individually and corporately. Ephesians 4:7-8 (6) Committed to meeting the needs of the community both in and out of the church. Galatians 6:10

STATEMENT OF FAITH, WE BELIEVE THAT: (A) God is revealed through His Holy inspired Word, the Bible. I Timothy 3:16 (B) There is only one God, revealed in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. John 1:4 (C) Jesus Christ will personally and visibly return to earth and that there is a literal heaven and hell . Matthew 24:27-31 (D) The Lord Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to His church, Baptism and the Lord's supper I Peter 3:21-22 (E) All people are sinners by nature and choice and can only be regenerated by the grace of God. Romans 10:23-26 (F) The Holy Spirit is personal, He convicts the world of sin, indwells and empowers every believer. He is active today and we believe in and expect the operation of His gifts. John 14: 15-17 (G) Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, crucified, risen and coming again. Luke 1:25-31 (H) God the father is the Creator and Judge of heaven and earth. He hears and answer prayer and saves from sin through Jesus Christ, His Son. John 3:16

As a church body, we bring praise and worship to God. He has been very clear that our immediate South Jamaica Community is to be the community of Enchantment. We believe that God has called us the help community. We are a dynamic spiritual community, whose residents choose God's eternal salvation rather than temporary earthly escapes, seek and live out God's will for their lives, commune together in the joy and peace of our Lord and reach out to meet the needs of our extended community and the world. Rush Temple is committed to being a vibrant part of this transformation.
