Our Mission
The mission of Lighthouse Church of Pittsburgh (LCOP)is to reach individuals with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that reaching unbelievers with the spirit of love, and a servant heart are key components necessary for reaching todays hurting people. Our mission outreach includes those who are bound by any type of sin. Drugs, prostitution, immorality, and sexual deviation are spirits that must come subject to the Name of Jesus. We commit to walk in an anointing that creates an enviornment wherein the Holy Spirit is free to render deliverance on a continual basis.
What We Believe
Salvation is free to all and was provided by the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
There is only one existing and true God who is eternal.
The Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible and written Word of God.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and Jesus Christ was God in human flesh.
The "blessed hope" which is the rapture of the Church at Christ's second coming.
In water baptism by immersion.
In redemption through the finished work of Christ.
That regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for personal salvation.
There is one God, eternally existent in "three persons:"
God the Father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit.
That the only means of being cleansed form sin is through
repentance and faith in the blood of Jesus Christ..
In the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the evidence of speaking in tongues.
That Jesus will soon return for the church in the rapture.
God will judge both the living and the dead at the Second Coming of Christ.
