PRAISE THE LORD AND WELCOME
The Lord is Exalted Church of God in Christ (COGIC) is a new church with a vision that never grows old- "To Seek the Lost At Any Cost." God has opened the doors for this ministry to be located right in the heart of the beautiful Pocono Mountains, a place that is ripe for harvest. All are welcome- Come as you are and let God make you into what He has purposed you to be. We are seeing the power of God bring healing, deliverance, and victory in the lives of His people. Our scriptural theme is John 12:32 "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me." Come lift up the name of Jesus with The Lord is Exalted Church family to the glory and honor of God.
MY TESTIMONY- FROM THE PASTOR
I wanted to share with the visitors to this site a little about myself as a person. I know what it means to be searching for something or someone who can fill the void in our hearts. I spent the first 11 years of my life in a foster home in which I was emotionally neglected and unwanted. I had hatred towards many people and decided that I would rely only on myself, because there was no one I could trust. Then at the age of 12, I was placed with a Christian foster family, who later became my adopted parents.They brought me to church where I first learned of the love of God and that he wanted to make me his own son. However, I was still mistrustful. I got involved in drug use, petty crimes,and false religion but my new family continued to pray for me and to show me the love of God in action. After nearly losing my mind from being given a cigarette laced with PCP, I cried out to God. I asked him to restore my mind, come into my heart and to be my Savior, and yes...my Father. God did just that and I have never regretted my decision to surrender my life, my hurts, and my hangups to Him. He saved me and filled me with the Holy Ghost and then in time told me to preach His gospel. If you don't know the Lord as your Savior, pray this simple prayer: "Lord Jesus, I ask you to come into my heart. I confess that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is the Son Of God. I believe that he died on the cross for my sins, and that he rose again from the dead with all power in his hands. Forgive me of all my sins and make me a new person in you.
