Here’s a sketch of who we are . . .
The walk of faith is an individual re- sponsibility, but it is also something we are most effective at in a community of people on the same journey. BEING A MEMBER OF A FAMILY means being welcomed home. Our church family is a place to grow up into what our Heavenly Father created us to be. WE ARE A FELLOWSHIP of people partnering in ministry based on our spiritual gifts and talents. We have joined together for the unique purpose of being a counter culture who carry a message of new beginnings. WE ARE A FLOCK willingly led by God's Spirit, who heals and gives joy and peace beyond our understanding. Being led is the act of worship that makes God the most important part of our lives - the Son in our solar system. We share biblical instruction as to who is a Christian, the meanings of baptism and communion, our church strategy for reaching our goals and a description of some of the places you may be gifted to serve or to take your next step of faith. Our Ministry Theme
Our ministry theme in 2002 is to be- come like "a city upon a hill" (Matthew 5:14). Each of us has been given a very unique responsibility to bring loving truth and purpose to our families and community, like salt seasons a flavor less food. Our goal is to turn the light on where people grope for answers, that each one may find out how to live in God through Jesus Christ.
