St Michael le Belfrey is an Anglican Church in the centre of the historic city of York in the North of England.
The church building dates from 1536 and is of great historical interest. The congregation at St Michael's numbers 750 and is made up of all ages.
We enjoy contemporary worship on Sundays. We put much emphasis on our members belonging to 'cell groups' - small groups within the church which meet regularly (usually weekly) for prayer, bible study and to deepen relationships.
We enjoy having fun together as a church and have many special events such as barbeques, family lunches, an annual houseparty.
