Do not be afraid. I know that you seek Jesus of Nazareth. He is not here. He has been resurrected just as he said...(Mark 16:6) Resurrection African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church (AMEZC) is the first AMEZC in Minnesota. We were founded on September 1, 2001. We are a Bible believing, intentionally multi-ethnic fellowship, who's "soul" commitment is to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, minds, souls, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. We are dedicated to pursuing TOTAL TRANSFORMATION THROUGH CHRIST! Each of us has come to God "just as we are," but we are working really hard not to stay that way. :-) Instead, we have committed ourselves to living lives of worship, service, community, accountability, and holiness. We believe that everyone needs God and that we all also need the forgiveness that is available to us through Jesus Christ. We strive to be a welcoming and affirming congregation. We are proud to call ourselves a family. Our doors and our hearts are always open to any person regardless of any defining factor. We strongly stand against racism and discrimination in our city and in our world. Come visit with us! You will be welcomed...You will be loved...in Jesus Name! If you have questions, or if we can be of assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact us. We want to be of service. Because JESUS Lives, Rev. Yolanda D. Lehman, M.Div.
