The Mission of the African Methodist Episcopal Church is to minister to the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, and enviromental needs of all people by spreading Christ's liberating gospel through word and deed. We attempt to carry out the 'spirit' of the original Free African Society, of which the A.M.E. Church evolved: that is to seek and save the lost, and serve the needy through a program of preaching, feeding, clothing, housing, cheering the fallen, providing jobs, ministering to the need of those in prisons, hospitals, nursing homes, asylums and mental institutions, senior citizens' homes, caring for the sick and shut-in, the mentally and socially disturbed, and encouraging thrift and economic advancement.
The Spring Chapel AME Church believes in the Apostles' Creed and the twenty-five Articles of Religion.
Our Motto is: 'We Walk By Faith, Not By Sight'2Corinthian 5:7
