Welcome To The Solid Rock Church of Connellsville
We are a "family" church that has been in this community for over thirteen years and we want you to know that we really care about you and offer you our friendship and the wonderful love of Jesus. Our church is a very loving and active one. We have dedicated min-istries and people that are willing to help and encourage you. As a growing church, we want you to know that there is room for you to be- long and find fulfillment with others who share similar interests. We are a worshipping church, and we place great importance on knowing, loving and serving God. Our services are filled with vibrant expressions of praise and worship that are demonstrated through singing, music, testimonies, prayer, giving, and the preaching of God's Word. As an evangelistic church, we are moved by the heart of the Father to share the Good News of Salvation through Jesus Christ, with people here, and around the world.
Jesus Christ is the Solid Rock
Our motto is, "Come to Jesus Christ and build your life on Him, He is the Solid Rock!" Throughout the Scriptures Jesus is referred to as "The Rock." He is our only sure foundation: our salvation, our strength, our redemption, our healing, our provider - our everything! "He's the Solid Rock on which I stand!" Our mission is, to express love and worship to Almighty God, win the lost to Christ, nurture and equip believers, and to proclaim the truths of the Word of God, the life of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. We have a reason for being a church. Our theme is, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart." Jer. 29:11-13
