Mission Statement
We are called to reap the harvest fields for the kingdom of God! Working in the fields will mean that we must reach out to all people, no matter who they are. We must reach up for the strength we will need to reap, and to learn how and where we must reap! Our mission is to preach and teach Christ and to promote a lifestyle of holiness and righteousness, helping folks to live "clean" in a "dirty" world. We will promote Christian family values, teaching that God should be the Ruler of every household. With His help, we will do this.
Who are Nazarenes?
The Church of the Nazarene was birthed out of the holiness movement that actually began with the work of John Wesley in the 18th Century. They were organized in the early 20th Century as a group of Holiness Churches met at Piolot Point, Texas. Today, the Church of the Nazarene is a leader in World Evangelism, sending missionaries world-wide. They have a huge publishing house which is dedicated to publish wholesome and holy material for Sunday Schools as well as for casual reading. The Church of the Nazarene believes that after one is saved, the Holy Spirit woos us to desire a deeper more meaningful walk, the walk of holiness. A total surrender of one's self to the will of God is necessary for all believers. The desire to walk in holiness, is the desire to walk AS Christ walked - without sin. By faith in the power of His blood, a believer who has gaiven over completely to Him, may find victory in this walk.
