SUNDAY SCHOOL UPDATES
All Classes starts at 9:30 am and are taught by teams of Christian men and women who are believers, doers and followers of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All Classes end at 10:30 am. Review is done by classes and the Pastor. Holy Communion is served to the Sunday School Students and Staff every First Sunday Morning at 10:30 am. The Church school allows the students and staff to participate in a wide range of acititivies recognizing the many days that are celebrated throughout Zion. Special attention is given to Special Days (Easter-Christmas-Thanksgiving-Children, Mother's and Father's Day-Black History). Children are allowed to participate in well planned programs. Students who are part of the CED youth are afford the opportunity to participate in local, district, conference, Episcopal district and National level activities.Sunday School is available for students Ages 3 to ?. Student and Staff are involved in the Sunday School Outreach Ministry.
Our Hero, Pastor Eldridge Gittens
Pastor Gittens organized this church March, 1955 in his living room. It has grown to one of most noted churches is Queens and he has earned the respect of Zionites and others alike worldwide.He has pastored this church for over 46 years and the spiritual FATHER to more than 50 other men and wormen in the gospel. They are now preaching/pastoring churches throughout the world. He has married, Baptised and counselored an unknown number. Many lay persons have come to Christ under the leadership of this man of God. He is well respected throughout Zion as one of their most respected preachers. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
