The AME Church alays been a "liberating and reconciling" people and St Thomas AME Church,under the pastoral leadership of an anointed and entrprising man of God,Rev Royd Mwandu has been maximizing on this since he was assigned to pastor the church in 1996. He has raised the church family into a united one,in whom God has created new hearts to serve Him faithfully. Whenever you are in Zambia,Africa your visitation will not be complete without passing by the "true Fountain of Praise"where constituent members praise the Lord from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same.

The prayers of the righteous man(church)availeth much.The St Thomas AME Church community of Kasompe,Chingola Zambia has been committed to praying for the peaciful tripartite elections for the Republic of Zambia.On 27th December 2001,Zambians will go for polls to elect the third Republican president,Members of arliament and Local govenrment leaders.The church is fully aware that real political,economic or spiritual change happens when the Church begins to pray and belive God. The Church has been praying daily for the eleven Presdidential aspiring candidates namely: 1.0. Levy Mwanawasa 2.0. Benny Mwila 3.0. Anderson Mazoka 4.0. Rt Rev Nevers Mumba 5.0. Brig.Gen. Godfrey Miyanda 6.0. Hurbert Shamapande 7.0. Michael Sata 8.0. Dr Inonge Mbikusita Lewanika ( Female ) 9.0. Tilyenji Kaunda 10.0.Gwendoline Konie 11.0.Christon Tembo So far there has not been any inter party clashes and all campaigns have been peaciful.To God be the Glory
