"A Ministry with a Vision" "Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he." (Proverbs 29:18) After diligently seeking the Lord through prayer, fasting and consultation with his companion, Missionary Kathy D. Williams, Elder Curtis L. Williams, set his sight on establishing a Church of God in Christ in the city of Ozark, Alabama. Due to an ordinance for the city of Ozark, Elder Williams was confronted with immediate opposition. Standing on the Lord's promises and their commitment for excellence, the Williams continued their march. Finally, the Lord heard their cry and a storefront building was secured at 310 EL Palacio Plaza, Ozark, Alabama. On March 21, 1999, Lively Stones Ministries, Church of God in Christ became a reality to the city of Ozark. Since its birth, Elder Williams famous slogan, "Our Vision is Achievable and Our Targets will be Reached," constantly rings in the ears of the congregation. As a pastor, he continuously teaches that humility, discipline and commitment will make the ministry one of permanence and positive impact in the city. From opening day, the Lord planted faithful armorbearers in the form of Elder Titus Jacobs, Assistant Pastor, Deacon Terrance Clark, President, Brotherhood Department, and others. Elder Jacobs and Deacon Clark have departed to other locations due to their military commitments. Knowing the urgency of the Lord's work, Elder Williams constantly encourages members to think positively, accept challenge, achieve their dreams and goals and fulfill their God-given assignments. Due to his motivation, Lively Stones Ministries has secured 9 acres land is now in the process of building a 6000 square feet edifice.
