Our Mission Statement
Our Mission is to introduce people to Jesus Christ,
to provide a loving fellowship in which to worship,
to teach the timeless principles of the Scripture,
to live and love as Christ and to proclaim His message to the world.
Our Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible is the Word of God. We believe in One God who has revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Ghost. We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ who is the eternal Son of God. TheScriptures declare His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, His substitutionary work on the cross, His bodily resurrection from the dead and His exaltation to the right-hand of God. We believe that man by voluntary transgression fell thus not only receiving physical death but spiritual death as well, which is separation from God. Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God. Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. All who repent and believe on Christ are to be immersed in the waters of baptism thus declaring that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised to walk in newness of life. Believers receive Holy Communion consisting of bread and the fruit of the vine as symbols expressing our sharing the divine nature, a memorial of His suffering and death, and a prophesy of His second coming and is enjoined on all believers, "till He come". All believers should expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Ghost which is distinct from and subsequent to the new birth. This enduement of power enables the believer to be a witness for Christ. Sanctification is realized in the believer by recognizing his identification with Christ in His death and resurrection, and by faith reckoning daily upon the fact of that union and by offering every faculty continually to the dominion of the Holy Spirit. We believe the church made up of believers throughout the world is the body of Christ. As believers we are members one of another thus it behooves us as the scriptures teach not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together. We believe within the church God has called and ordained Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry. We believe that Jesus will return. The bodies of those who have died in Christ will be raised and we which are alive and remain shall be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. The wrath of God will be poured out upon the earth. We will then return with Christ to the earth and will rule and reign with Him a thousand years. There will be a final judgement of the wicked dead whose names are not found written in the book of life. They will be consigned to everlasting punishment together with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet in the lake of fire which is the second death. But we according to His promise look for new heavens and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.
