FAITH FOUNDED
Pastor Imogene Johnson founded Faith Mission Holy Church with women and children, when women were being fought so hard in the rural area between Tyler and Bullard Texas. These women pulled nails and helped
to build the church and carry the would and anything else they could
toward building God a house. King David had it in his heart, but, God
made the way for this lil ole country woman with a vision to come forth. She was obedient and many people fought this vision and said it would not stand, but, she has been pastoring for over twenty-five years. God brought them from a shack with holes in the floor and leaks in the roof to a beautiful sanctuary, and still building.
We are a tongue talking Holy Ghost filled people with souls on our mind, operating in the five fold ministry, determined to do the Will of God. This is an anointed pastor and church who are led by the Spirit of God operating in the Gifts of the Spirit, according to the Bible.
WOMAN WITH A VISION
Pastor Imogene Johnson's God given wisdom blessed her to purchase fifteen acres of land across the road from the church and now there is a "FAITH MISSION RECREATIONAL COMMUNITY PARK," "FAITH MISSION GRAVEYARD," "FAITH MISSION EDUCATIONAL BUILDING," "FAITH MISSION FACILITY FOR THE HOMELESS," "FAITH MISSION PAVILLION," just to name a few of the accommplishments that have been ordained and blessed by God. When the enemy spoke curses....GOD SPOKE BLESSINGS.
Pastor Imogene Johnson has fed the hungry, sheltered the homeless and helped to educate those that have dropped out for whatever reason, to receive their GED. We have seen God's healing power deliver the drug addicts without rehab, alcoholics sobered, and disfunctional homes made stable. God has moved for his people financially, in ways they had not expected. But the greatest thing of all is to see...the healing of the sinsick soul. Now that's awesome. People who have felt there was no use in trying, felt like or had given up on themselves, while others had already given up on them, began to say "YES TO THE WILL OF GOD" once they realized that God had it all in control.
