May the Risen Saviour be present for you! St. John The Baptist is a community within the Independent Anglican Church, Canada Synod. Our worship is traditional and yet vibrant. We follow traditional Anglican theology and liturgical practices. In our worship you will find the active witness of the Church as it seeks to do the will of our Lord. Our faith and practices are those of the Anglican Church of Canada and The Episcopal Church in the USA to the exclusion of the unacceptable innovations that have been imposed on both in recent years. The King James Version of the Bible and the Book of Common Prayer Canada 1962 are used in our worship. This Church holds to the historic three-fold ministry of Bishops in Apostolic Succession, Priests, and Deacons, all consisting of men as was established by Christ's Will and Institution. The Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion are accepted statements of our beliefs. Our commitment is to preach the Gospel and to continue to join together in the dignified, reverent worship of traditional Christianity. As an Anglican community, we affirm the historic episcopate of men only; Holy Tradition; The Creeds and the Living WORD of God in His Sacred Scriptures. We are not only a prayerbook community, we are a Bible community. We offer two main Services on Sundays. A Said Eucharist takes place on Sunday, 10:00 a.m., and a Sung Eucharist at 12 noon. Other services and gatherings are often offered. We use the Maisonville Court Senior's Centre Chapel for our Eucharist. Located at 245 Drouillard Road, Windsor, Ontario, we welcome all of you to join us for worship. Let us come to know Jesus together in His Church and Sacraments. We minister to Seniors, young people and children, seeking to teach and share with all the living Word of Christ as it is reflected in His love for us all. Contact us if you need a Church home, contact us with any need. We are ever-ready to help where we can. As Anglicans, we are a traditional Christian community. We are not the "Church of the moment", but rather the "Church of all time". We ascribe to Prayerbook spiritualty in our focus, and we are doctrinally in line with the 39 Articles found in the Book of Common Prayer. We believe and adhere to the "via media" so typical and celebrated of Anglicanism. The Holy Bible is STILL the inspired Word of God. The Tradition, liturgy and the seven Sacraments, STILL must protect, teach and correct the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. We all must STILL be holy and righteous, not by our works, but by His blood, walking in the Light of the unchanging Word of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son, and with the Holy Spirit, and the Lord, Holy Father, Almighty, art the only one and true God.
