Our Goal
Our primary goal at the St. Pual COGIC is focusing on rightfully dividing the word of truth. We concentrate highly on the spiritual well being of every individual that associates themself with our ministry. Our pastor is a very caring, honest, and god-fearing man that makes it his personal buisness to ensure that the teachings and works of God be fulfilled in everything that he does and is associated with. Church History
The St. Pual COGIC was founded by Jesse J. Kelly in May of 1982. The congregation first resided at 901 J.R. Lynch St. here in Jackson. We recieved national recognition for our street ministry. In 1986 the congregation was moved to 1775 Booker Ave. in Jackson, Ms. At this location several missionaries, ministers, deacons, mothers, and other members were added. God blessed the ministry so well that on the second Sunday in December of 2000, the Lord Blessed us to move into a new building at 3328 Oak Forest Dr. Now we are a family of about 350 and rapidly growing. During the summer months we still return to our old stumping grounds to preach the word of God to the lost souls of the Jackson State/Lynch St. community.
