Our Church History
Winburn Drive Baptist Church began as a mission church in 1984. She was organized into a full church on September 25, 1985. The founding pastor of this new church ministry was Rev. P. C. Donald, Sr. He is also our present pastor.
Church Beliefs
We are a Misssionary Baptist Church. We believe that God is the heavenly Father of all believers, that Jesus Christ is the Savior of all who believe, and that the Holy Spirit keeps us walking in God's favor. We believe that the primary work of our church is to seek to win the world for Christ, to teach all who are baptized and become members of our church, and offer spiritual support in Christian love. We believe the bible to be the the Word of God and that the sixty-six books are God's divinely inspired record for our spiritual, social and eternal redemption. We believe that there is a coming Judgment for all and an eternal resting place for all believers in Chrst Jesus. We believe in the Triune God (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit). We believe that the church and her ministries are to be financially supported through the faithful giving of tithes and offerings of her membership. We believe that, where possible, our pastor is to be finanically supported, fully, by our church. We believe that our church officers are primarily that of Pastor and Deacons. However, other persons and officers are selected and elected to give faithful support in this most blessed work. We also believe that we are to support missinaries, both locally and internationally, to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire world.
