Who we are and what we believe
The Community Church of the Hills is a Full Gospel Fellowship comprised of Christians from various denominational backgrounds. We believe that the scriptures, both Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible authoritative rule of faith and conduct. (II Timothy 3:15-17, I Thessalonians 2:13, II Peter 1:21.) Our Purpose... Our purpose is to establish and maintain a place of worship of Almighty God and to provide for Christian fellowship where the Holy Spirit may be honored according to our distinctive testimony. We assume our share of the responsibility and the privilege of propagating the Gospel of Jesus Christ by all available means. ~ Psalms 107:20 ~ ... About Us
From Pastor Jim Boatright... We at the Community Church of the Hills invite you to visit our church and worship with us. Regardless of your denominational background, you are welcome. We are a full gospel Interdenominational Church. We study "The Word" and its historical signification with insight into its application to living in this modern world. Our Praise and Worship team sets the mood for worship on Sunday, and is also available for special church and community functions. Sunday School classrooms are set up for various age groups, and a nursery is provided for infants during the morning service on Wednesday nights, and for special church functions. We enjoy the covered dish fellowship dinner after our service on the third Sunday of the month, and a special fellowship breakfast on Easter Sunday each year.
