The Diocese of Lui is one of the newly created dioceses of the Episcopal Church of the Sudan (E.C.S). The Diocese is located in the Eastern part of Mundri County, Western Equatoria - South Sudan. It was formerly part of Diocese of Mundri. Diocese of Lui falls under SPLA controlled area. It occupies an area of approximately 7,750 sq.kms.with an approximate population of 175,000.Lui town alone has over 5,000 people mostly women and children.
PARISHES: There are seventeen(17) Parishes and 28 Pastors ministering in the SPLA controlled areas of Southern Sudan.Twenty(20) Women workers and many Lay preachers all working on voluntary basis.These Parishes are:Lui,Wiroh,Lanyi,Lozoh,Wandi,Kedi'ba,Minga,Lunjini,Agyi,Magyiri,Amadi,Lakama'di,Iyeba,'Buagyi,Doroh,Mideh, and Mari'ba.
