First Baptist Church is an assembly of 100 or so members who love the Lord Jesus Christ and His people. You'll find a delightfully warm welcome in an atmosphere of genuine Christian love and fellowship. Our traditional music and worship style are like you remember as a child. Our mission is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by impacting our community with His Good News. The church is located one-half mile west of US19 and the BONATI INSTITUTE at the intersection of Hudson Avenue and Old Dixie Highway.
About Our Pastor
Pastor Stan has been at FBC of Hudson since August of '94. He and his wife, Karen, were married on March 29th, 1969. They have three children and three grandschildren. The Kistlers moved to Florida in 1991 from the Indiana/Ohio region where since 1971 they served churches in Ft. Wayne, IN, Flint, MI, and Lima, OH. Pastor Stan is a USN veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He has a Bachelor's degree in Pastoral Ministry, a Master's degree in Christian Counselling, and a Doctorate in Christian Education.
