Jesus said "Whatsoever things ye desire, when you pray, believe that ye shall
receive them, and ye shall have them. (Mark 11:24).....

Oh Something Wonderful Happened at...!
Convened in Houston, TX!!! July 19-26, 2008 at The Grand Houston Hotel.
Chautauqua '08 convened January 19th - 26th, 2008. It was held in Houston, TX at the Houston Grand Plaza Hotel, (Crowne Plaza Hotel). We thank God that all services and functions were well accommodated in a beautiful hotel surrounded by nice scenery, restaurants and shopping areas for our use.
The overall theme this year for Chautauqua '08 was "A FULL DIMENSION OF GOD MANIFESTING IN THE UNIFICATION OF MAN" - (Ephesians 3:13-14).
We who attended Chautauqua '08 left on a new dimension of God as unity was manifested everywhere. The day and night services were spirit-filled and uplifting, as the spirit of God moved in the midst of all the services. The National Choir and the music was "off the hook," the messages were life-giving as God anointed each speaker with fresh oil. The ASOW and Youth Departments represented and what a time, what a time!
We were blessed at Chautauqua '08 to have the elegant Visionary and Founder of Chautauqua, Mother Esther Bernice Harris present! What a wonderful blessing it was to see her and have her in the midst of what God did this year. Truly we recognize Mother E. B. Harris as one who is the epitome of LIFE, after recovering from several life threatening attacks on her body, of which she has overcome. To God be the glory!
Triumphant members left Chautauqua on a high vibration, with an elevated mind that "Something wonderful has happened...at Chautauqua, Chautauqua, THIS YEAR... Oh yes, many were so glad they came!" The meeting was so inspiring and so exciting. These words of life, were so inspirational, oh yes!
The highlight of Chautauqua this year was the Apostles Inaugural Banquet... as the triumphant saints came in their formal/semi formal attire. It was an evening of elegance, style and perfection as only Triumph would have it. Coordinated by the District Apostle of Second Episcopal District, Apostle Joe N. Frank and his staff, it was a new and exciting experience for all who attended. The live band was on point, the food was great, and we were graced with possibly one of the greatest Mistress of Ceremonies in the world, the lovely Elder Martha Gibson, who as always, did a tremendous job. We were also blessed to have in attendance to the Inaugural Banquet Commissioner Welch from Northern California and the Editor-in-Chief of the Gospel Truth magazine.
The evening speaker was the Apostle Russell Clark of the 7th Episcopal District who closed with profound words of life. He charged Triumph to connect with others whose ultimate goal is everlasting life for the body and soul. To end this Gala affair the evening closed with a presentation from the National church by Apostle Frank to our Chief Apostle Willie R. Malcom and his lovely wife with round trip tickets to Hawaii for that much needed vacation.
Lastly, we THANK GOD for the tremendous job our National Coordinator Elder Medoria Burks, National PR Coordinator Elder Dorothy West and all of the National Department Heads did coordinating this year's CHAUTAUQUA '08! Many Blessings to the National Evangelistic Chairman - Dr. Charles H. Whittiker, Jr., the National ASOW Superintendent - Mother Walta Samples, the National Minister of Music - Mother Gwendolyn Hendon, and the National Youth Director - Mother Doris Woods. We salute each of you and encourage you to keep up the great work and continue to let God inspire you to bring forth new things for the triumphant body.
