About Us
Deliverance Tabernacle was founded in 1966 by our Pastor Dr. Elder C.L. Turrentine. God moved upon our Pastor to name the church Deliverance Tabernacle as God promised that great deliverance would come through this ministry. God has been true to his promise as he has literally raised people from the dead, opened blinded eyes, opened deaf ears and has delivered many from diseases, drugs, alcohol and family desfuction. We at Deliverance Tabernacle beleive in worshiping in spirit and in truth. We invite you to worship with us in any of our services. Come and enjoy the Spirit of God in operation.
Our Pastor and Wife
Elder and Sister Turrentine have been in the ministry of Jesus Christ for over 43 years. Elder and Sister Turrentine accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior under the ministry of F.J. Goodman who now serves as Bishop of the Evangelistic Jurisdiction in Southern California. After serving as an evangelist traveling across the United States Elder Turrentine accepted the call of the Lord to pastor. With his wife, five children, his mother and two sisters in a storefront Deliverance Tabenacle was born. Throughout the years God has been faithful and the membership has grown to over 250 members. Under the leadership of our Pastor and wife they have built God a house from the ground up, this is where we currently worship. Elder Turrentine is a learned leader as he has received his Master degree from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena CA and his Ph.D. from Florida International. He got he learning and kept his burning.
