New Life Study Group

WHO WE ARE...

New Life Study Group is a home Bible Study program, with an emphasis on informal atmosphere and a balance of personal sharing and serious inductive study of the Word of God.

Our goal is to pursue, proclaim and publish the Wisdom of God. Proverbs 4:7 states that "wisdom is the principal thing." Wisdom is the laws of God applied. It is Jehovah's solution to a problem we are confronting, whether it is behavioral, emotional, relational and spiritual.

It is in the Heart of Jehovah God to see us succeed and be prosperous, and He desires to help in our endeavors. It is found in Jeremiah 29:11 this thought:

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

That is why we have His Word. The Principles in it are constant, sound and very practical; and He has placed His Name, Reputation and Love on the line to back up His claim. All He is asking for us to do is to "taste and see that the LORD is good" (Psalm 34:8).

We invite you and yours to see for yourself that Wisdom is the most important thing in our lives. Study with us today. You will never be the same.

OUR TENETS OF FAITH

WE BELIEVE the Bible to be the inspired, the ONLY infallible, authoritative Word of God.

WE BELIEVE that there is ONE God (JEHOVAH), eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious andatoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

WE BELIEVE that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the salvation of lost and sinful men.

WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

WE BELIEVE in two Christian ordinances: baptism through water immersion and the Lord's Supper.

WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto resurrection of damnation.
