Winn Army Community Hospital's Inter-faith Healing Service is a multi-faith, powerfully packed ministry that strives to provide holistic ministry to the caring professionals of Winn Army Community Hospital every week within 45 minutes. The Inter-faith Healing Service was started by U.S. Army Chaplain (MAJ) Ken Harris in August 2000, with the premise that worship services in hospitals should provide staff (first)and patients(always)with an opportunity to be cared for physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Winn Army Community Hospital is located in Hinesville, Georgia (approximately 45 minutes South of Savannah, Georgia). Each Quarter, the caring professionals of WACH are provided a schedule of the projected topics for the quarter. Topics such as: Satan's Deadliest Weapon, Dealing With Stress, Anxiety, and Burn-out, Healing Women Emotions, The Wounded Healers, Grief, Guilt, and Debt Collecting, and The Five Languages of Love to name a few. All services are accompannied by dynamic contemporary gospel music, and Healing Concerns (collective prayer for hospital staff and patients). The Inter-faith Healing Service is a religious experience that provokes spiritual awakening and healing.
