Mission Statement
WELCOME to the Greenview Church of God, Lynchburg, Virginia. We are a non-denominational church and are associated with the Church of God movement of Anderson, Indiana. The mission of the Greenview Church of God is to prayerfully seek and carry out the Great Commission in unity, love, and compassion. We are here to serve our community and meet the needs of those we come in contact with. We believe that Christ gave His life for all people and we have committed ourselves to help lead the lost to Him, comfort those hurting, restore the tired, and encourage believers.
Ministries
Children's Ministries include Sunday School, Children's Choirs, monthly activities, News Team, and Super VBS experiences. Young Adults Minitries include Sunday School, Community Outreach, and Young Adult Activities Sunshine Ministries include visitation and monthly sunshine baskets to shut-ins. Missions - Our ladies' group called the Women of the Church of God supports home and foreign missions through a variety of outreaches. We support World Vision and reach out to our own community through our food closet. Prayer Circle - This ministry is open to anyone who commits to pray for needs as brought before the body.
