About the Fellowship
Our motto is Reach * Teach * Touch. We are one church body, with two locations established in Columbia (1991) and McComb (1998). We are a ministry of excitement and destiny, striving toward excellence in serving our communities and God's people. Weekly, we are involved in building people with the Word of God and teaching practical Bible principles that, when applied, will increase our lives in the home, on the job, and in the community. With the vision God has given to New Life, we are living abundantly by the grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Our church is full of love and we believe that as we fellowship, God will increase our strength through unity and His love. We are a worshiping church, a word church, and definitely His church. We have different ministries within the church, including but not limited to: Men's Fellowship - MPI (Man Power) Music Ministries - praise teams, choirs, youth dancers, mimes, YES (Youth Explosion Singers) Sunday School/Church School Classes Weekly Bible Classes Educational Ladder for new members and new converts Fellowship Committee in the McComb location Group Session Meetings in the Columbia location Outreach Programs (visiting the nursing homes and local communities) Youth Explosions (every fifth Sunday, full of excitment) Super Sundays (every fifth Sunday during worship service) New Life Fellowship Ministries, Inc. which consists of: Monthly Ministers Classes - Monday evenings Conferences, Crusades, Other outreach efforts that focus on the total man, etc. RTT (Reach * Teach * Touch) Afterschool Program - located in Columbia and McComb location provides afterschool tutoring, computer/internet access, snacks, rap sessions, pregnancy prevention seminars, and a wholesome environment. I am so blessed to share a vision of reaching, teaching and touching lives to the glory of God. Through the years, God has been so gracious to the Fellowship and we know that He is the Blesser. With His blessings, we hope to be people of integrity that will be a light shining upon a hill that cannot be hid. Each person is very important to us. You are God's top priority and we take that seriously. I so often stress to leadership about serving others, because I firmly believe that is a great example of who Jesus is. So, I hope to reach others with love, touch them through service/ministry, and plainly teach them what His Word says. As we believe His Word, our life will be filled with faith, and with that faith, we will please our Heavenly Father. Please continue to pray with us as we endeavor in the great vision that God has given. Upon your reading this, I hope your heart is touched and, if you are ever in Columbia or McComb, that you will visit the Fellowship. We would love to have you stop by and worship with us.
