Meet Our Pastor...
Rev. Robert E. Dodson, Jr. Our pastor is a pastor with a vision for the inner city. He was born and raised in Baltimore City in 1958. The fact that he was born and raised in Baltimore makes him a most likely candidate to have a heart for the people of our city. He is married to Jennifer Dodson and togetehr they have two lovely children, Alicia, 17 and Bobby, 11. Once you have met this family you will automatically sense a genuine spirit of love and concern they have for the inner city. Pastor Bob
Our Scope Of Ministry...
THERE IS SOMETHING HERE FOR YOU! It is the desire of the East Baltimore Church Of God to minister to your family in every aspect of life. We're concerned with your needs both spiritual and personal as well as offer counseling services for adults and youth. Our musical program consist of a powerful worship team that leads the congregation literally into the presence of Almight God each week in the Sunday morning and evening worship services; A sanctuary choir open to all ages above 12, a kids choir, musicals at Christmas and Easter as well as kids musicals. Our church enjoys many soloist each week in the services. Our pastors are God called and have a deep sense of ministry and what God is doing in this last day. They are readily available to minister to you and your need and to be available to you. Bro. Welton Hunt is the leader of our Benevolence Ministry and feeds more than 40 families per week through our food outreach pantry. Sis. Carol McBride is our Sunday School Director and leads a our Sunday School each week. This has proven to be a lively time in the Word at our church. Sis. Imogene Stinson heads up our Ladies Ministries/Auxilliary. Our Ladies ministries are constantly looking at and serving the many faceted needs of the congregation. Sis. Pam Phillips, our Ladies Ministry Spiritual Coordinator is a deeply knowlegeable leader directing our ladies to a deeper sense their spirituality. Pastor Dean and Dianna Mears have worked with our Youth/Teen ministry for the past four years and have done outstanding work. This is a ministry that you will want to involve your teens with, as they seek opportunities to minister and be ministered to. Our Junior Children's Ministry is led by Sis. Cyndi Parrish and our children enjoy a variety of activities led by Sis. Cyndi and her staff. We have a deacon board consisting of four ordained men of our congregation, Bro. Robert L. Chavis, Bro. Charles Pritchett and Bro. Elmer Smith. These fine brothers are hands on ministers in our congregation ministering to the various needs of our people and to our community.
