THE BEGINNING OF COMMUNITY CHAPEL
In March of 1988, Rev. Frank Ford felt the leading of the Lord to establish a church in Opelousas. The first building of worship for the church was at 770 South Oak Street. On April 30, 1991, the congregation moved to the present location at 1606 College Avenue. Community Chapel attempts to minister to the whole man and recognizes its responsibility to serve this present age.
