Church History
The Lord established Hope Ministry Church Of God In Christ, Inc. on January 1, 2000 under the Pastoralship of Elder Frederick D. Smith Sr. We know the Lord orders every thing we do or say. Our church is an exciting place because we asked the Lord to come in and let His will be done in our lives as we acept His will.
Church Mission
Our primary mission is to help those who are in need. There are many broken hearts that need mending, many homes broken apart and shattered that only Christ can change and fix. If a person falls and needs help in getting up why should I make them feel worse off than they are already by criticizing them for falling before I offered my help. The church is to show love and compassion to the community. Christ showed love for us when He died on the cross for our sins (the sins of the world), Our ministries are malleable, that is, they are made to be unmade and to fit the ever-changing needs of the church and community. We pride ourselves on STEWARDSHIP. Stewardship involves laying a solid foundation upon which to build a Christian life. The solid foundation includes WORSHIP - getting to know God and yourself; STUDY - improving our mind in order to magnify the gifts God has given to us; SERVICE - (not duty - but service) allowing yourself to be used for the good of others and for the glory of God; GIVING - sharing your resources freely, since all that you have and all that you are has been given to you by God; RECONCILLIATION - creating, healing, or enchancing loving relationship with others, in order to break down the barries that separate us.
