Hello, I am Pastor Dan Reynolds and I want to extend a personal welcome to you to come visit us at Slayton Baptist Church. God is growing Slayton Baptist Church and we would like to invite you to "Come Grow With Us"! We are a community church for everyone and enjoy meeting new people.
I HAVE ONE PASSION IN LIFE...and that is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have not come to Slayton to start "another church." I bring with me the messages that God changes lives, the Bible is relevant to your life today, and Jesus is alive. If you don't have a church home, come and see us. You will not regret it!
We believe that music and drama are very important parts of the worship service. Our worship services are full of excitement. We are celebrating what God has done for us and we believe that we glorify God when we worship with all of our heart, mind and soul. We enjoy singing some of the old hymns as well as choruses that invite the Holy Spirit to be a part of us. Drama helps take the biblical principles and act them out into situations that you encounter every day.
Children's Choir will meet on Tuesday nights from 7:00 - 8:00 starting in April. This is also when our Adult Bible Study meets.
There are SEVERAL THINGS BEGINNING in the near future here at Slayton Baptist. We will be moving to another location on April 1st. God is so good and we're continuing to grow...so...we need a bigger building! Come join us on April 1st for High attentance / Dress DOWN Sunday and see our new location 2556 Broadway Ave. (NO COATS, TIES, OR DRESS CLOTHES ALLOWED!!)
Also IN APRIL...We will have a missionary coming for 6 months to help kick off "Children In Action", a fun-filled, action packed program for kids ages 3 to 6th grade! Wednesday nights 6:30 - 8:00!
YOUTH...need something fun to do during the week? Come join us on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8:00 for Wednesday Youth Worship (WYW). Bring your friends and come worship our Lord with upbeat praise music, instruments, and a Bible Study.
