Our church family is a gathering of dedicated and committed followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. Though we are a small church with a country atmosphere, we are a diverse cross-section of people from a variety of backgrounds. Most of our congregation reside in the Wilsonburg/Clarksburg area and gather regularly for worship, study, fellowship, and service. Many are also actively involved in the community. Our current membership is 64 with an average Sunday attendance of 50. Our church family enjoys a variety of worship styles and experiences. Music typically includes traditional hymns of the church as well as contemporary worship and praise music. Our church choir presents an annual Christmas and Easter cantata as well as regular special music and anthems for worship. Several members, including the pastor, share special music on occasion. We also invite guest singers or gospel groups to the church throughout the year.
We also have a dedicated Sunday School Staff who offer classes from Nursery through Senior Adult with classes for all age groups in between. Our Christian Education Committee organizes an annual Vacation Bible School program each summer and many children from the community attend. The pastor also leads a mid-week Bible Study and Prayer meeting on Thursday evenings.
If you are new to our area or are looking for a church home where our motto is "the Church Where Everybody is Somebody", we invite you to visit us. We believe that you will find us to be a loving, caring, living community of faith. We hope to see you sometime.
