Our Purpose
We want to be known as a community of people intentionally focused on and committed to helping people along their journey of life. We seek to love God and love people for you cannot do one without the other. We are not a high dollar people but a common sense people seeking to give ourselves away rather than pamper ourselves. We seek to hear the voice of God through our personal walk,corporate worship and service so that we can be about His work of restoring broken peoples. We value family in the complete sense of the word and seek to minister to each member equally. We average about 120 in Sunday School and while we are not a big church we have a big heart with much to offer. We are not on your way to anywhere and that is the way we like it. So then when you join us it allows God to receive the glory for directing your path to ours and our path to yours. We seek to change the world with the message that "Jesus Christ loves YOU" And may you know that we love you also. May God be with YOU.
History of the Church
We are an independent, fundamental Bible believing church started in 1893 as a mission church by the Congregational Church of Boston. Our past is rich with struggle and success not because our members are special but because our God is Great and worthy to be praised. We believe wholeheartedly in the Great Commission as the only mandate for the church. We have a strong and personal emphasis on missions rather across the street or around the world. We currently give over 25% of our budget to missions. We do so because Jesus left us with the great privilege and responsibility to make followers of all peoples of this world. Our history is rich, our present is rich and fruitful and our future is as bright as our Lord Jesus for this is His church. Why not come and see Him who knows all about you and me and loves us still.
