Doctrine
The Church on Higher Ground believes the Bible to be infallible and inerrant in it's autographs, it is the final authority on anything to which it speaks and is the court of final appeal to our faith and practice. The Christian life is not a life of rules and regulations religion, but a living and loving relationship of faith in Jesus Christ manifested by obedience. The Christian life is not lived by power nor by might but by the Holy Spirit who indwells us. His grace forgives, adopts, justifies, sanctifies, purifies, empowers and leads us as we walk in His light. We are called to follow Him in a lofe of love, simplicity and service. In Him we have joy and eternal life.
Our ministry
The Church on Higher Ground has a tree tiered ministry. 1. To reach our local community with the saving faith of Jesus Christ. 2. To equip the saints for the establishing and growing of local churches outside of area. 3. To reach the world with the good news of Jesus Christ, both by going physically and on the internet.
