What Is Our Mission
Henry Gordon A.M.E. Church is a church in the 11th Episcopal District, We are about "doing God's work God's Way".. Reaching those who are lost, destitute.widowers,and distressed. The mission is to Preach the unadultrated word of God in season and out, lifting those who can't lift themselves for Christ word has instructed us to Preach his Gospel simple and pure. If we can help one soul to turn back to Jesus, then our vision is not in vain.Our hurch Motto is.."God our Father,Christ our Redeemer. Man our Brother." If you are in Jacksonville Florida and need a place where the People of God is obedient to his Word Take 95 to 20th street west,take 20th street west to Myrtle Ave,make a right on Moncrief rd.Take Moncrief rd to west 23rd Street Make a left proceed west to the church on right hand side we are located on the corner of Wilson and 23rd.

The Apostle Creed I believe God the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, Born of the Virgin Mary, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried, on the third day he arose from the dead and ascended into Heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit the Church Universal, the communion of the saintsthe forgiveness of sin the resurrection of the body Life everlasting.
