Ministry information

The goal of this ministry is to spread the Gospel of the true Jesus Christ. The main teaching involved in this Ministry is how to keep from getting involved with cults, and if you are involved with a cult how to get out. The title for the main teaching in this Ministry is: "Christian or Cult...Can You Really Tell the Difference??" There is only one rule to this Ministry: Do not allow anyone to tell you what you should believe. Let the Holy Spirit lead and guide you. Study your Bible, and learn from Gods word. Never allow man's word or doctrine to replace the Word of God.There is no better way to know God's Will than to have a daily quiet time with Him in study and prayer. In this generation, people are forever learning but never coming to the TRUTH. In this generation, people are always worried about what denomination others belong to. Jesus did not need a denomination. So, why do we? I know you are saying, "Jesus was a Jew." Yes, He was! But that was not His denomination. It was His nationality. This Ministry does not engage in minor theological "hair splitting." But strikes at the very essence of the Gospel and the fundamental differences betweenChristianity and cults. "Whom do you say that I am?" This question is as relevant today as it was when Jesus asked it of Peter. And conflicting answers to this question are even more numerous that in the first century. This Ministry is designed to help Christians and non-Christians alike recognize these counterfeit "Christs," and to share the true Jesus with those they meet who have accepted "another Jesus" (II Cor. 2:4). "And this is life eternal: that they might know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." (John 17:3). . To help you understand this Ministry better, here is a list of what the Bible says Christians should believe. (1) That the Bible is the inspired and only infallible, authoritative written Word of God- it is used exclusively as the source for teaching and doctrine not in conjunction with any other alleged sacred writings or scriptures (2Tim. 3:15-17, 1 Thes.2:13, 2 Pet. 1:21, Gal.1:8). (2) That there is one God-who is eternal and exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost (Deut. 6:4, Isa. 43:10-11, Matt. 28:19, Luke 3:22). (3)In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ- that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died a vicarious and atoning death for our sins rose from the dead on the third day, and was exalted to the right hand of the Father (Matt. 1:23, Luke. 1:31-35, Heb. 7:26, 1 Pet. 2:22, Acts 2:22, 10:38, 1 Cor. 15:3, 2Cor. 5:21, Matt. 28:6, Luke 24:39, 1 Cor. 15:4, Acts 1:9-11, 2:33, Phil. 2:9-11, Heb. 1:1-3). (4)That the only means of being saved and cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ- Salvation is a gift of God's grace which cannot be earned by works and comes only through faith in Jesus, the only mediator between God and man. That the Holy Spirit regenerates and indwells the heart of every true believer (Luke 24:47, John 3:3, Rom. 10:13-15, Eph. 2:8-9, Tit. 2:11, 3:5-7, 1 Tim. 2:5 rom. 8:9b). (5)That Jesus will someday personally return- to gather his saints, and will at some future time return to the earth in power and glory to rule for a thousand years ( 1 thes. 4:16-17, Matt. 24:30-31, Rev. 20:1-6). (6) That God hears and answers the prayers of His people- in accordance to His will (Matt. 7:7-11, 1John 5:14-15). (7)That there will someday be a resurrection of both the saved and the lost- the one to everlasting life in Heaven, and the other to everlasting damnation in the Lake of Fire (Matt. 25:46, Mark 9:43-48, Rev. 19:20, 20:11-15, 21:8). (This summary does not dismiss the value of other important Biblical doctrines, taught with varying opinions, but additional teachings are not mandatory to basic Christian Faith.) Things that cults share in common are : (1)A centralized authority which tightly structures both philosophy and lifestyle. (2) A 'we' versus 'they' complex, pitting the supposed superior insights of the group against a hostile outside culture. (3) A commitment for each member to intensively proselyte the unconverted. (4) An entrenched isolationism that divorces the devotee from the realities of the world at large. Theological Characteristics: (1) Devaluation of the Bible. (2) Devaluation of the nature of God. (3) Denial of the Trinity. (4) Devaluation of the Person of Christ. (5) Devaluation of the life and work of Christ. (6) Non-biblical teachings about the Holy Spirit. (7) Exalted view of human nature. (8) False basis of salvation. (9) Non-biblical teachings about the after-life. (10) Demonic activity denied or overemphasized. Sociological Chaacteristics: (1) Deceptive recruiting practices. (2) Dynamic and authoritarian leadership. (3) Elitism. (4) Cultic vocabulary. (5) Alienation from family and friends. (6) Legalism. (7) Induced fatigue. (8) Sanction oriented. (9) Anti-intellectual. (10) Thought stopping. (11)No professional clergy. (12) Doctrine in flux/ false prophesies. (13) Financial exploitation. (14) Mind control.
