Beth Messiah is a Messianic Jewish Congregation located in Livingston, New Jersey. We believe that Yeshua (Jesus) of Nazareth is the Messiah promised in the Jewish Bible for both Jews and Gentiles.
Beth Messiah Congregation was established in 1983 and has always been known as a place where both Jews and Gentiles gather together for joyful worship, prayer and the study of God's Word. While we are an independent Congregation, we have
friendly relationships with many other Messianic Jewish groups and with those churches which have a positive regard toward the Jewish People. At Beth Messiah, our doctrine is Biblical and sound.
We embrace the 'grace' that is found in the atonement made by Messiah
Yeshua.
We invite you to visit Beth Messiah. We meet at 15 North Livingston Ave, corner of Route 10 in Livingston, New Jersey. Our weekly Shabbat service is held Saturday mornings at 10:30 am. It consists of very joyful praise and worship, the reciting of the Shema and other heartfelt Hebrew liturgical praises, a reading and explanation from the weekly Torah or Haftorah portion and a teaching from Gods' Holy Word. Afterward, we set out a Kiddush table with refreshments to encourage fellowship. Each service also offers classes for children thru age 13 and a supervised nursery. Other Congregational activities include a Ladies fellowship, special Jewish holiday services, twice-monthly Bible Study, a Congregational Passover Seder, picnics and a Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation program for young people. IT'S EASY TO GET TO BETH MESSIAH !
From Interstate I-280:
Take I-280 to exit 5-A (Livingston Ave Southbound). Proceed 1 mile, make right turn into parking lot after hardware store. The large brick building across the lot is our meeting place.
From the south:
Take JFK Parkway north, it becomes South Livingston Ave, continue to intersection of Mt. Pleasant Ave(Route 10), cross intersection, then make first left turn into Parking Lot.
