About our Church
Our church was founded by our Pastor, Elder James Bell,in 1993. Greater Prayer Tower C.O.G.I.C. is a member of the Church of God in Christ, Headquarters in Memphis, Tenn. Our Presiding Bishop is Bishop Chandler David Owens. We are in the Second Jurisdiction of Kentucky, under the leadership of Bishop James Bell, Sr. We are a bless church that loves the Lord and believe in giving Him all the praise and glory. Our Church motto is "We are a church with a great big heart, and an even greater expectation of what God is about to do for his people."
About our Pastor
Elder James Bell, Jr was save when he was eight years old and was baptize in the Holy Ghost when he was eleven. Elder Bell was call to the Ministry at the age of Sixteen, and Preach his frist sermon on Friday May 12,1978. Elder Bell married Missionary Donya M. Bell in June 1984 and has three Children. Elder is the State Minister of Music of the Second Jurisdiction of Kentucky in 1982 By the late Bishop E.H. Ware. He has served under as State Minister of Music, Bishop E.H. Ware, Bishop W.L. Porter, Bishop M.J. Skyes, Bishop H.J. Bell, and now under Bishop James Bell,Sr. He also the Founder of Greater Prayer Tower Church of God in Christ.
