St Augustine's is a beautiful example of Victorian, Anglo-Catholic Gothic Architecture. It was designed by Butterfield and dedicated for worship in 1871. But St Augustine's is not a museum, it is a living and active centre for Christian community with regular worship in the Anglican Catholic Tradition. We are part of the Church of England Diocese of London, in the Kensington Episcopal Area, but welcome people of all denominations and traditions to join our worship of the God who meets us in Jesus Christ. St Augustine's has a strong musical heritage and our Choir and Organist are professional, with a stunning repetoir which lifts our regular worship greatly.
