Gospel Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C.
Began in Springfield,Massachusetts in the mid 1980's. Under the Leadership of The Late Reverend Willie Davis and National Evangelist Missionary Carrie Mae Quarles-Davis. Members of the Church of God in Christ Massachusetts Jurisdiction Number One with Bishop L.C. Young as Jurisdictional Prelate and Mother Rebekkah Gorham State Supervisor of Women. In 1991 The Lord led Pastor and First Lady Davis to Greenwood,South Carolina.The straight forward spirit led teaching has caused Gospel Tabernacle to grow here in South Carolina. The Youth Department and children's Choir have both been blessed with talent and training. The young people at Gospel Tabernacle are trained to perform a variety of duties and functions and the Youth Department has many events planned for 2000 and beyond. Most importantly is that the unadulterated truth is being taught and Solid, Saved, Sanctified, Holy Ghost filled people are being made and lives are being changed. Pray for us and With us that the Lord will continue to smile down upon us and grant favor to us.
WE BELIEVE........
That all things are possible through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For as The Apostle Paul said in Phillipians 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me !" We also believe in accordance with the Bible and the Church of God in Christ doctrine that Salvation through Jesus Christ, The Baptism and Indwelling of the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for believers in Christ. If you have a....Need that must be met.....Yearning for more in this life...Emptiness inside that needs to be filled....Desire to know the truth in the word of God...Want to hear the word taught and spoken with power,authority and in it's pure form....Longing to sing in a Gospel Choir that is dedicated to excellence...Wish to be part of a church service that is on FIRE for the Lord and lets him have his way.....Need to join a church with young people who love the Lord and will treat you like a Brother or Sister.........Come Visit Gospel Tabernacle Church of God in Christ.
