For over a few years now the Lord has put on my heart, a vision of a unique ministry. A ministry that consists of a Church that meets not only the need of the community, but the needs of the city. A ministry that will go beyond the doors of the church house and into streets, a ministry that will consist of Evangelism, Outreach, Mentoring, Preaching Teaching, Administration, Counseling, and Christian Education. A ministry that is not just confined into a church building but expands into a building facility with offices and departments that services the needs of the community by opening the doors for employment. A ministry, that will go out to the streets of our city into the homes of our families, the schools of our children, and the offices of our city officials. And cause a great affect upon all that come to know God. A ministry, that will provide all kinds of service to the community. Such as Hospital visitation, Convalescent visitation, a Homeless shelter, Tutoring courses for students, Employment training center, Food bank, Prison ministry, Elementary school for children, etc... God has shown me a ministry that consists of praise and worship. A ministry where God's people will come and establish a relationship with God. Seeking Him while He may be found, calling on Him while He is near. A ministry, where grace and mercy are given without condemnation or judgement. A ministry where God's purpose is before man's. In order for this ministry to work, there has to be dedication from the staff and the members of the church. Each member has to believe in the vision, Mark 9:23 (Jesus said unto him if thou can believe, all things are possible to him that believeth). This ministry will take a fully committed staff of individuals that not only believe but walk in faith and by faith. As the ministry grows, so will the needs of the people of God. The need to be ministered to and cared for. And we need to be mindful of our responsibilities as members of the church. To be polite, courteous, respectful, kind and loving. Keep in mind we are an imperfect people who worship a perfect God in the beauty of His Holiness.
